Hampstead straddles the line. Homes backing onto the Intracoastal Waterway carry a real salt load on their water-facing elevations while the street side stays relatively clean, which means a single interval for the whole house is usually wrong.
We price Hampstead waterfront homes by elevation: the water side on a four-month cycle, the street side annually. It costs less than putting the whole house on the short interval and the glass that matters stays clear.
