What glass does here
Wilmington covers the widest range of glass in our service area: 1890s wavy-annealed sashes in the historic district, 1970s aluminium sliders in midtown, and new low-E units in the Autumn Hall and Mayfaire builds. Each needs a different method, which is why we walk and note the glass type on the first visit rather than turning up with one approach.
Downtown also gives us our commercial route. Front Street, Princess Street and the Water Street riverfront storefronts run weekly and fortnightly before 9 am so the glass is done before the doors open.

Things we brief the crew on before the first visit
River haze on the west side
Riverfront elevations pick up a fine film from the Cape Fear that is closer to industrial soiling than salt.
Pine pollen weeks
Late February to early May, the yellow layer returns within days. We schedule spring resets for mid-May, after the drop ends.
